1-Hand Video PokerVideo Poker is very popular game in casinos around the world. We have created 15 different versions of 1-Hand Video Poker, each with their own unique pay table. You can choose to play with a “COIN VALUE” of $0.05 to $5.00. How to PlayThe object of 1-Hand Video Poker is to obtain a five-card poker hand that contains at least the lowest combination on the pay table for the version you are playing. For this explanation we will use the version “Jacks or Better” to provide examples. *But remember all 15 pay tables are different. In the case of “Jacks or Better”, the lowest paying combination is a pair of Jacks or better. To begin select the “COIN VALUE” you wish to wager: $0.05, $0.10, $0.25, $0.50, $1, $2 or $5. Next select the number of coins you wish to bet on your hand by clicking the left mouse button over the “BET ONE” button up to five times. To reduce the numbers of coins continue clicking and the wager value lowers. If you wish to bet the maximum amount of coins (five) on your hand, simply click on “BET MAX” with your left mouse button. When you press “BET MAX”, your hand is automatically dealt. If you use the “BET ONE” button to select the number of coins you wish to wager, then you must use the “DEAL” button to start the game. Once you are dealt your first cards, with the left mouse button, click on the cards you wish to hold, and you will see “HOLD” light up on the appropriate card. You can hold from 0 - 5 cards. When you have selected the cards you wish to “HOLD”, click on the “DRAW” button. Upon clicking “DRAW” you will receive new cards for all the cards that you did not select to hold. The main idea is to better your initial hand by holding your best cards and hopefully drawing new cards that better your held cards. The pay table for the poker game you are playing will be displayed above your cards. Jacks or Better Pay TableRemember we have 15 different versions of 1-Hand Video Poker, each with a unique pay table.

Casino Game and Poker Rules Variants - Holdem Variants: Pineapple In pineapple, players are dealt 3 cards instead of two. There is a round of betting. Then the flop comes (3 cards just like hold'em) and there is another round of betting. However,
after the betting after the flop, each player must discard one of their
cards, so they are back down to the traditional two cards. Play is then
the same as a hold'em game. This is a fun variation on Hold'em. Players are dealt two cards down and one up, three cards are placed in the middle face down (the community). Round of betting, then the first card in the community is flipped face up. This is 'The Good'. All cards of the same rank are now wild (but The Good card is not shared and may not be used to complete someone's poker hand...it is merely an indicator of the wild card). Another round of betting, then the middle card in the community is flipped face up. This is 'The Bad'. All cards of the same rank (face up or face down) must be discarded. Another round of betting, then the final card in the community is flipped face up. This is 'The Ugly'. All players who have an upcard of the same rank must fold. Another round of betting, then each player is given one more card face down. One last round of betting, then show. High hand wins the pot. |

| Two Mad Geniuses Join Bluff Magazine. Bluff Magazine has announced the addition of two exciting new figures to its team of elite poker experts: Mike Caro, “The Mad Genius of Poker,” and Phil “Unabomber” Laak. A prolific poker writer, Caro authored Mike Caro’s Book of Tells, the greatest treatise on poker psychology ever written, and remains the world's foremost authority of poker strategy, psychology, and statistics. As founder of the Mike Caro University of Poker, Gaming, and Life Strategy, he is also one of the most high-profile tutors of the world’s fastest-growing game. He is also a world-class player and claims that, should aliens come to earth and challenge one human representative to a poker match for control of the planet, he should be that man. With his eccentric table-antics, Phil “Unabomber” Laak is one of the most exciting players in poker today, and the second ‘mad genius’ that Bluff welcomes to the fold this month. In each issue, readers will get a privileged glimpse into the weird and wonderful world of “The Unabomber”. Bluff’s family of super-star contributors also includes famous poker aces Annie Duke, Antonio Esfandiari, Josh Arieh, Clonie Gowen, Kenna James, Marcel Luske and Mike “the Grinder” Mizrachi. “We’re thrilled to have Mike and Phil on board,” said Editor Michael Caselli. “Their poker expertise notwithstanding, they are undeniably the two most colorful, interesting and absolutely crazy characters you’ll come across in the world of poker. They’re going to fit right in.” |
